Alfa Milano Jr.

Post by Matty »

Who signed this off?

They're getting mauled on socials. The Tonale sold about 6 cars (I've never seen on the road) so I expect this to sell at least 9 cars.

Is it the front grille which people hate (justifiably) or other parts?

Actually, is it just a rebadged Peugeot 208?

Shared platform based on "e-CMP2" so Wikipedia tells me, like the 208, Mokka, DS3 and the "Dongfeng" 8-)

It's partly the looks, plus the Alfa-nerds don't like them jumping on the SUV bangwagon and following the money.

It looks like a Renault to me.
The recent Alfa SUVs are neither popular with Joe public nor the Alfa fanboys. And I think the making a SUV because that’s what everyone wants boat has long sailed as that segment of the market is now saturated as seen by the Toenail sales.

^ that. Drop the Alfa badge and it could be a Renault Captur.

Hilarious, just read that it's in trouble in Italy over false advertising and misleading consumers because it's called the Milano but made in Poland. They have a law directly targeting stuff like that. Also noticed in this larger pic that it's front grill appears to have fallen off.Image

Now called the Junior. Which is also stupid, perhaps even worse considering the original Alfa Junior was so iconic and this is just a turd.

Oof. Rebadging at this stage? Somone isn't getting their bonus this year.

They could have called it the MiPo (Milan-Poland) or the MiTy (Milan-Tychy).

It just looks another utterly generic jacked-up mini suv (or whatever we're calling them these days) that every manufacturer is making.

And those wheels?!
Cheers,

Mike.

It’s definitely not good looking, but it’s no worse than most of the crap out there. Just very meh.

How long before people start copying the grille for older Alfas? 😂
Cheers, Harry
