Just did an analysis of Porsche's 2023 Results and Ownership structure. Overall they are in quite good condition but ownership structure could not be more convoluted if they tried.

I like the analogy of Porsche shareholders to Monacoians (Monacanites?)

Surprised the SUVs aren't profitable as anecdotally there should be huge R&D and economies of scale with the closely related VW empire products.

Unless the numbers are fiddled to make Porsche SUVs less profitable to push up the numbers for VW/Audi/Skoda variants?

Im sure the SUVs are profitable, just not to the same extent as the multitude of 911 special editions

It’s a good job that Porsche make profitable sports cars to keep their core SUV business going.
