Decent plain t-shirts

I bought a few from M&S and they have not lasted well at all, som ecolours worse than others.
Cotton Traders and Fruit of The Loom used to make decent kit (sdo did M&S). anyone favour a plain t shirt and can recomened where from please?

Not recent, but I got a couple of packs of Costco own-label plain white ones years ago and they’ve been good. Nice and long with a slim-ish fit.

The best I've found, for the slimmer gent who wants something a bit fitted is the Teejay T520 (link below)
I came across these because they're used for my company's branded t-shirt - and they pretty much fit me perfectly
They're also really cheap c£13 and come in a load of colours
They hold their shape, and colour, and I just live in them now

Depends on how tall you are! I've found Weird Fish to be really good quality, holding their shape well. Rapanui isn't bad either.

Yeah, I recently binned a wierd fish t short that had done many years sterling service but was more hole than shirt. They don't do plainn colours though afaik?
I have seen rapanui advertsied, bamboo shirts? Another to try. Cheers

Depends on how tall you are! I've found Weird Fish to be really good quality, holding their shape well. Rapanui isn't bad either.
Ordered a pack of 7 for £50 with free shipping, nice, plain and seem to be eco friendly too. Thanks for the suggestion

Concorde or the SR71 are always a good bet, but also Typhoon, Harrier, Tornado and even Spitfire, Hurricane etc.

Trust me, when you're scraping together pennies to buy food, you're also habitually buying the cheap t-shirts
especially when you're weighing up how many meals that t-shirt could be...
I still find the concept of spending £15-20 on a t-shirt to be a bit odd though. That said, I never really wear only a t-shirt up top, I always have something over it, so I treat them as underwear and never bother getting anything that's particularly fancy/quality/etc even though I can now afford it, as it seems kinda pointless for something no-ones ever gonna see. The rare times I've had nice t-shirts (gifts etc), I've never really noticed the difference honestly.

Also consider them as an undergarment/21st century wife beater

I feel like the quality of H&M essentials has gone down over the last few years though. I've still got some of their £4 t-shirts / £9 long sleeve t-shirts that I bought pre COVID that are holding up strong, but ones I bought in the last couple of years already have holes in them. The colour choice isn't as good as it used to be either.
Still couldn't bring myself to spend more than £6 on a t-shirt also. I've been gifted some more premium ones which are nice but the brand has long since worn off the label so I don't know what they are.
