Eldest miklet wants to get some additional storage space for games.

Is it worth spending &more for recognisable brand like Seagate ?

I would go for a brand that is known.

I believe it is not that hard to upgrade the internal drive - Sony even have an official guide: https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/suppo ... grade-hdd/

Would much rather do that than have an external drive.
