I need a van for an hour tomorrow to pick up a new Washing Machine.
Good Christ on a crutch that a fucking faff. I’ve spent over an hour trying to register and still aren’t there yet.
My 12 character password wasn’t random enough despite being 12 randomly selected numbers, letters and characters!
I just want a van, not access a nuclear silo.
Next, they can’t validate any of the 3 cards I’ve provided them!!!
Gaaaahhhh!!!

I find Hertz a bit of a pain in the crotch as well, for all of those same reasons!

Used Enterprise earlier this week for a van. Painless

Given up.
Enterprise wanted £110 for the booking and EuropeCar had none.
So I’ve drafted in the one mate who isn’t already currently doing work for me.

Christ, can't you just buy it from someone who delivers?

It better be a muthafunkin' Bosch series 6 or 8.

A decent estate car or SUV will take a washing machine. Don’t you know anyone you can borrow one from ?

Enterprise are generally great, except for their Bow branch which has not had the vehicle ready and availabe the last two times I've used them and they've called an hour before to let me know it's running late, which is stressful when you've planned travel around that pickup time.
Also if you book a small van with Enterprise, they usually give a transit size instead, I'm not sure they actually have any small vans. And, if it's a 1 day booking, they always give the oldest shed they've got.

A rover metro will carry a washing machine
Might be harder to find than a hire van though

So will an Audi TT.
I’ve had a lot of luck with local companies. I moved a sofa and was charged £30, not cash in hand and all signed for etc.

Sadly true Rich..
£1000 tax bill recently didn’t help

Hmmm.., not sure what you were doing wrong Dinny, maybe there was an issue with their website. I’ve used the van hire at Costco and B&Q numerous times and even booked it after paying for goods because it’s been so seamless.. best of luck in the future!

got to see that...
We’ve had both dogs in the boot, my 29” bike with just the seat and front wheel removed, a 6 man inflatable tent etc.
The hatch opening so much is a big benefit. It’s surprisingly practical for a small car.
Dave!

That must be when Dave had a pair of chihuahuas, a bike which was suitable for a 29" tall child and a pop-up tent. And he probably still had to have the boot open.
