B58 engine and manuel sounds like a promising mix. Is it a decent drive?

That's a handsome looking car 8-)

Nice colour combo too, stick a set of frozen gold alloys on it and you're sorted.

Interested to hear if anyone has driven a Z4 recently, especially one with a decent amount of bhp.

Lets hope BMW addressed the problem the manuel supra suffers, which made the shift position/action really uncomfortable (for me).

It doesn't actually need more than the 340bhp, however Im still hoping to see a twin turbo S58 engine before they start making hybrid or stop making cars like this altogether.

you always need more than 340bhp...

Why’s there always a catch when something looks half decent. You can only buy it in that colour combo. Satin paint is an abomination. It’s almost as if they don’t want to sell too many.

In no small part due to getting rid of the absurd giant nostril grilles that so many of their cars are cursed with.

There were spy shots of a GRMN Supra rumoured to have the S58 mated to a dct gearbox. It does seem like something Toyota would do and if true, you’d hope BMW would follow.

Yes, any gear changes have to be performed entirely manually! Usually in a workshop by a Tesla mechanic, admittedly…

Sadly the final Supra with “only” 424bhp non M engine means that the z4 will at best see a similar upgrade and not an s58.
