Assuming you can access this if not a member of the forum?

Prices seem very reasonable for billet?

Yeah I can see it. It’s very brave, don’t wheels have to pass all sorts of certification and testing to be road legal?

For that sort of money I’d expect the structural rigidity of a Kraft cheese slice :?

Arrived & fitted.

I’d have added 5mm offset for the visuals…. Purchaser has sensibly bought 3 fronts & 3 rears for reduced pain if one is damaged. Let’s see if they are robust….

I’m not loving the JPS stripes personally.

They're very orange - they'd probably look better in lighter gold?

The colour combo doesn't work! Also my experience of people who label their cars with the factory designation is that they're about as interesting as watching paint dry

Not a fan of the colour and definitely not a fan of the gold pinstriping. The eyeliner around the headlights in particular.

Oh FFS I like how that looks but hate the wheels.

Didn’t Lemmy have a JPS coloured Scuderia ?

I like them, but not more than the OEM ones....although I guess they're lighter? He didn't weight them though :? which you'd think would be the point.

You’re all being very cruel about Mik’s new car! His crayoning is improving! Keep up the good work buddy! 👍

I followed a badly driven Matt black Tesla with Mik’d tyres on it yesterday. All of them were kerbed so the crayon was smudged. Nearly took a photo but thought the driver might think that I liked the look of his car!

I love it. I’d have to peel the stripes off though.

This. It's the wrong gold. Shame, would be alright in the right gold.

This is the correct gold IMO obviously.

I don’t think the design of the wheels suits it - makes it look like a replica Ferrari 458.

A good example of ‘just because you can doesn’t mean you should’.

I agree with most of the comments above - I think they look pretty good, but I wouldn’t choose that shade myself and from a design perspective I find OEM more attractive.

The thread was more to highlight the availability of relatively low-cost custom-made wheels (whose design can be tweaked) rather than assessing the aesthetic of these specific wheels.

That's a pretty damn good price. Not a fan of the colour, but I don't think any of us are!

How do you get assurance around the quality and tolerances of these things when buying from some random third party?
Cheers,

Mike.

Pfft, they've got badly compressed JPEGs. What more could you want?

The "international well-known organization", I love their quality assurance!
