New Year Honours; good news!
Re: New Year Honours; good news!
And then a knighthood for Ron Dennis. For services to f1, which seems strange given that he was forced from his last position in the sport and was in charge of McLaren when spygate happened and lost McLaren the last chance they’ve had to win the constructors

Re: New Year Honours; good news!
Well to bring it back onto track there’s some really deserving people receiving honours- like the youngest ever- a 9 year old child abuse charity founder that lost both his legs to the hands of his birth parents. He raised 1.7m doing sponsored walks in the lockdowns. And at the opposite end a 97 year old lady who has collected for the poppy appeal for over 80 years
Re: New Year Honours; good news!
Makes a lovely change to see some thoroughly deserving people get honours (I’m sure there have been plenty in the past but the undeserving ones always make the news).
Re: New Year Honours; good news!
THese are exactly the sort of people who should be getting honours!nuttinnew wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 11:28 pm I didn't know where to post this or how to title it.
