24 hours in Glasgow

I was due to do a video shoot tomorrow which has been cancelled, while the train and hotel was non-refundable at short notice. So I’ve hopped on the train to Glasgow and will be in the city for 24 hours from 5.30pm tonight. It won’t be the fear and loathing trip it could have been 15 years ago, but I need to work out what to do with my time.
If you’ve got any suggestions for:
a) things to see
b) things to eat and
c) somewhere cool to run towards from Central (gonna do 6 - 7 miles tomorrow AM) then speak now!

Do you prefer any particular type of food? plenty of good places in that area.
As far as a run goes. Not sure of the mileage but down through the southside to Pollock Country Park and back is probably about 7 miles.

Hmm. Things to see?
1. You're pretty close to the Gallery Of Modern Art (GOMA). Not sure what is on just now.
2. Kelvingrove Art Gallery - as much for the building as the contents. Just along from Glasgow Uni.
3. Science Centre
Food?
1. Indian = Mother India Cafe is also superb- curry tapas - opposite the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Walk-in only, no bookings. The Lansdowne (at the end of Great Western Road) is also fabulous. Ka Pao if you want a bit more indonesian.
2. Italian = Sarti''s (Wellington St place hasn't changed in 25+ years - is cool - recommend the ravioli), Italian Cafe (Albion St) very tasty - tapas again so lots of variation
3. "Ox & Finch". "Tiffneys" if you want a great steak. "Partick Duck Club". "No16 Byres Road". "6 By Nico" if you want a Michelin-starred type experience for bargain price (6 courses for £40)
Run?
Not sure. Head through Finnieston (not ideal for running) to reach Kelvingrove Park, and Kelvin Way (now fully pedestrianised)? Run along the side of the Clyde?

I've had a few people shout about Paesan pizza which sounds cool. What I'm really looking for is something unique to Glasgow that I wouldn't be able get in London, I don't care what that means in terms of calories or health
Pollok park sounds cool, I can get there and back from my hotel in 7.5 miles so could be a win.

Yeah Paesano is good.
If you want a uniquely Glasgow experience you really want to go to the Blue Lagoon and get a pizza crunch. It's a workout for your digestive system

A couple of other nearby places if you get there and can't face it
Taco Mazama - Burritos as big as your forearm
Bibimbap - Excellent Korean Food
The Flying Duck - pub with homemade vegan junk food
Nonna Said - Italian American style food, it's mostly just alright but worth going for the fried pickles

I was going to recommend a steak restaurant and a burger restaurant but i've looked it up and they're both closed
Balbirs is another indian recommendation but Mother india cafe is absolutely excellent as per Mik's suggestion.
There's the transport Museum that's worth a look additionally.
