That looks horrendous... Trying to go after the X4 / X6 / GLC / GLE Coupe SUV things? Can't imagine buyers of those cars would swap to a Ford.

I assume it’s aimed at people that like the X4 / X6 / GLC / GLE Coupe SUV things but can only afford a Ford.

Maybe trying to relive the success of the s-max which tempted a lot of people into a ford by being a decent looking 7 seater, so much so they had to introduce the titanium and titanium x trim levels to accommodate people used to having a car with everything

Also the way car prices and mortgage prices are going soon some of those buyers will be lucky to afford a duster if they want to buy new

They'll have to do a Ghia for this (if only for the UK market).

As Cougar went to Kuga, will this end up as Kupree?

Not if it's an EV SUV where aero matters. There's a reason they all have a very similar side profile.

yep, massive frontal area and lifted suspension with big wheels is always good for aero.

So it only makes some sense to gain back a little range with a sloped rear then.

they jacked it up to make it more practical though. If practicality matters, then make it practical. If aero and MPG matters, lower it back down.

In reality, it's just a fashion decision (and a daft one at that).
