Age, is it? Not as easy to get in and out of these days. Therefore:

That has a nice symmetry, replacing a 7 with a 7, while being totally different cars, great for confusing people when you refer to "the 7".

I really like the G40, but a guy I know had one, was very disappointed in it, spent a lot on upgrades and ended up back in a Caterham :?

@speedingfine Interesting - do you know what he didn't like? Was it just "too heavy" after the Caterham?

Couldn't get the handling balanced, even after factory upgrade path, visiting race teams. Engine was never as responsive, even after throttle bodies, new management etc. Had to stop sending good money after bad so he said. Anyway, I loved it when I went in one for five minutes at the Autosport show handling thingy (I know, it's not exactly a b road). Proper little race car.

Saw one at C&M the other week, looked pretty cool to me. Interesting your mate couldn't get it where he wanted it given their racing pedigree. Cool as they are, you could have a very nice Elise for the same money which would be better in almost every way (IMHO of course!). :)
