Is that stripe just a sticker as well? I presume its not paint but maybe it is any thats where the cost comes from...

I'm a sucker for carbon fibre as much as the next person but I think I'd miss quite a few of those off if it were my money...

The leather/alcantara floor mats sound a bit extravagant for something you’ll only get dirty 😄
And why are the 2-yr old harnesses so expensive? I’d want new ones for nearly £2700.

I’d love to see the full options book for that Ferrari- if you go in the configurator you can’t even spec that colour combo up

I'm trying to figure out the wheel cost.

Text states "and that's without a further £20k or so for carbon fibre wheels", but the list also includes £4608 for 20" forged diamond rims, and £2400 for custom paint colour. I guess the carbon wheels will replace the listed options (so a £20k option replaces a £7k option)? :?

Does adding £117k of options really keep the value £117k higher? I struggle to believe that you'd struggle to sell a basic one with a price tag £100k less than one with a spangly interior and a dodgy blue racing stripe.

Pre-Covid when people used to say how good Porsche residuals were they conveniently forgot that most left the dealership with 15-20% of the purchase price in options.

No dealer will want to take in a base spec car, but I’m sure you’d get something that they’d be happy with by spending under £30k on options.

The press cars are always covered in all of the available tat so that it’s out there for potential purchasers to see.

I've no idea what the market looks like for these things used now, same with the Porsche's, but the press cars and influencer cars are obviously loaded with every option under the sun. Given the base price is 240K, I'm going to assume that the vast majority of people buying a new Ferrari can afford to add however many options why want.

Some of those option prices look "ok", whilst some seem utterly ridiculous for what they are. And obviously, if you tick every box, its only going to go one direction.
Cheers,

Mike.

It seems common for Ferrari buyers to add over 50% in options.. as do other high end car manufacturers; Rolls Royce stated the average car price leaving Goodwood is over £500k for a Cullinan, a 100% options add on
Cheers,

Ian

If you ever need a stripe painted on a car I'll hand paint one with a brush made from siberian weasel hair for the bargain price of £13,900 just let me know when to start

I’ll undercut gavster and do it with a tin of gloss and the cheapest nastiest brush I can find, you know the one, where the bristles fall out of all the time. Won’t even clean your car first. It’ll also be artistically wobbly and off centre

If enough of you want it I’ll do a group buy price of £1000 per car

I'll do one better. Send me a picture of your car and I'll add a stripe in Paint and issue it back you as an NFT. Forum discount, so only £100,000 per picture. Guaranteed future collectible.
