Solid, well built little things. 1.4 16v is a decent engine too. Could do a lot worse for a bag.

Never liked the centre exhaust, mind.

Always thought the 100bhp might be the pick of the bunch. Obviously the GTi is a lot better, but also an awful lot more money and more expensive and harder to find bits.

I thought my step daughters normal 75bhp 1.4 16v was a decent little car with loads of character

I thought the same with the GTi being strong money and even tidy Ignis Sports and Panda 100hp are multiples of what that chap wants!
