It looks amazing until you start looking at the panel alignment. I know it’s a race car but there’s no need for it to look like it’s been written off and rebuilt badly

Those panel gaps are an absolute travesty yet I'd still buy it in a heartbeat.

One of my enduring memories is whizzing through the tropical heat in Singapore in a black testarossa, in fact, the only black testarossa on the island. Large, lumpy, slightly ungainly, yet Miami Vice clearly weights heavily on my upbringing.

Wonder what the POA is for that. Without any provenance, should it be cheaper than a standard Testarorssa?

Testarossa always lived deep in the shadow of the Countach for me. (Probably the shadow thrown by the rear wing).

Never lusted after one for this reason. :?

Assuming someone wants £££ for that, why the fuck wouldn't you give it to someone to tidy up the panel gaps first?

I get to post my fave pic again. A guy I know has a Testarossa, it’s not pampered, it’s used semi-regularly and is normally stored like this:

Well yes, but also - the 288 GTO was released around the same time. Quite possibly still the best looking vehicle of all time... 'Rossa looked unnecessarily big, visually heavy, and nowhere near as "pumped" in comparison. :geek:

There is a Testarossa travesty going on in America as quite a few of these are being converted to EV now.

Since we weren't talking about F40's - this is a fabulous (possibly even @Sundayjumper approved) colour. 8-)

Not sure if Mr Ian L has bought himself a new toy, or if it's in for work :?:

I think it’s an awful colour regardless of the car it’s on.

Looks very similar to the mother in laws 2012 Ford fiesta

Yep that’s a colour you usually see on low end cars - weird choice.

I'm confused, does that mean it's a good thing or a bad thing?

It depends how sexy the roast dinners are.
