Great purchase. Didn't even realise they did that motor in the Velar.
It's 'cos it doesn't really fit with the rest of the branding. As noted by @IanF the Velar and F-Pace share the same platform. The F-Pace (on conventional suspension) is marketed as the sporty option. The Velar (on air) as the more luxurious, higher premium, more capable off-road option. Hence the "SV Autobiography" badging in place of an "SVR" badge.
I would hope it would be fine - both my 911 and RR are under factory warranty and have such devices fitted (and the dealers know as much). I think it is very much par for the course these days (with the manufacturers knowing the crap vodafone devices they fit are not up to much) and they can in any event only void the warranty if the device itself/installer that fitted it causes the particular issue you are making a warranty for.Maurice wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 9:45 pm Thanks all!
@GG. I’ve thought quite a bit about Ghost immobiliser as I had one on the Merc, however I’m a little more concerned with having to actually use the warranty on the Velar at some point given their less than stellar reputation. I worry that a third party immobiliser would void the warranty or at the very least LR would be difficult about it if they discovered it. On the case with Tracker through LR however.
I can sell you my d lock now I'm back from holiday - proven security.
Slowing it down and positioning it post-overtake a little more effort though!
