Anybody got any experience of companies that'll do a custom built PC? It'd need to be built & delivered within 3 weeks but I can collect it anywhere within an hour or 2 of Sheffield, Manchester or Derby etc.

Our youngest is off to Uni soon to study Computer Science. He's going to need a new PC for his studies / gaming and has been looking at his options. PC Specialist seem to be the place he wants to get one from but when I've spoken to them theres no discounts / promo codes available. Considering he'll be spending near enough £2k I was hoping there'd at least be a bit of negotiation to had

Ok, the savings aren’t huge but gives you more freedom with cosmetics and upgrade paths.

We decided against that option pretty quickly. If I had more time then I'd like to be a custom PC but also with it being for Uni work I didn't want to risk it.
