Ignore - due to OP idiocy

===================

I just realised April-23 was the 5 year anniversary? Did I miss a mention of this? :?

Many didn't make it here from the evo forum, many that did haven't remained active, and some are of course no longer with us :(

Regardless - recognition to @Matty for creating and maintaining this site after EVO DROPPED US ALL LIKE PIECES OF HOT POTATO SHIT - THE UTTER BASTARDS ;)

No idea how much longer it will stagger on, but thanks for all the fish anyway. :geek:

PS - is it just me, or do we always seem to have a ridiculously high percentage of lurkers (assuming the stats are accurate).

Current picture:

WHO IS ONLINE
In total there are 67 users online :: 7 registered, 0 hidden and 60 guests (based on users active over the past 5 minutes)
Most users ever online was 874 on Sat Oct 24, 2020 11:49 pm

Registered users: Bing [Bot], GG., Google [Bot], mik, Semrush [Bot], Simon, ZedLeg

So 7 active users, but 3 of them are bots. 4 active real users and 60 guests. :? 94% lurkers?

Is this actually.... like..... the Truman Forum? :?

I lurk quite a lot but generally just a quick glance between doing actual work, as I don't want to get involved in the argument of the day.

I get reminders of my age more than ever it seems, Linkedin told everyone my tenure at Tt recently and it's freaked a few out 😆

It's 23yrs on the various Evo forums..

I was going to say the same,.. apart from he who shall not be named, everyone seems to be adults, respect differing opinions and give sound advice! Crazy when you think about it! 😂

All things considered it's remarkable that Evo allowed the forum and all it's, errr, eclecticism, to continue under the lackadaisical steerage of MickyP for over 15 years until 2018 😂

My first contribution was on MegaDrive 8-)

I've long since faced the reality that some of my colleagues weren't born when I started working for the original incarnation of this company.
