Yes. Many people have made a (sometimes very) substantial living peddling this rubbish to the naive/gullible/lost/meaning seekers.

Over the many years the star signs have existed, people have got very good at peddling generic personality traits as sign specific

I was about to take umbrage at Mitoboy's assertion then remembered that I think it is a huge load of arsegravy so I cannot be taking said umbrage without a hefty shot of cognitive dissonance.
