FTAO forum members looking to spend around £820k on a track toy
Re: FTAO forum members looking to spend around £820k on a track toy
Given how much mainstream manufacturers charge for some of the small volume track only stuff (eg that Aston Vulcan, 2.2m) that seems an absolute bargain by comparison

I would, but I've just sold my private race track. Couldn't possibly share with the unwashed. What a shame.

Yes, for the fastest hill climb car out there, that seems like a bargain!

Performance /£ ratio looks very good, however I doubt I could come close to using a fraction of its full potential.
Cheers, Harry

So instead of buying a £2m megacar, you could buy this and have change to buy a track? How much was that kart track business on the South coast?

I love the way so many of us clicked on the title even though it applies to approximately 1 member of the forum

As ludicrous as that is, with the silliest acceleration videos outside of a proper drag car, after a week it would just gather dust.
It’s like a university study of what’s achievable with 4 wheels but a Street eliminator car does it in a much more exciting way.

I could see these ending up with a ban on track days, I can imagine incidents where someone will be following one, loose focus on everything but the car in front and completely miss their braking point off a high speed straight- because that car doesn’t actually have a braking point
I also wonder what would happen if you put half a wheel in the gravel or on the grass, would it suddenly loose downforce and spit you out?
