The lack of tapas

When holidaying has anyone noticed that the places they once visited now don't do free tapas?
Is it a recession thing? Or tourism ruining once quiet local focused destinations?

I only remember getting the odd free thing in Portugal. As for France/Monaco they would sometimes hand out a bunch of stuff with the menu but then if you ate it they would charge you. Then I noticed that almost no one touches it and they keep recycling it from table to table
Shitty breadsticks in Italy, thatās free

Inspired by your post, I started investigating what it would take to open a pop-up restaurant that might meet this need.
I went to BQ to get letters to make a big āFREE TAPASā sign, and since I am not going to make much money out of this venture - asked if they had any slightly damaged ones that they could give me for free?
They checked in the back, but advised that the only letters they had spelt āFEAR PASTEā, and they were Ā£10 a letter.
So I didnāt bother

I had the same thoughts/issues and ended opening an Italian seafood restaurant instead called REEF PASTA with what they sent me.

Statistically speaking, 9 out of 10 people enjoy gang rape.

Obviously if you're travelling to sanitised TUI all inclusive with your famalam this subject is harder to grasp.

Surely all-inclusive holidays are ideal for you to get your free tapas?

I've travelled extensively whilst wearing my Casio G Shock GS1100 and have never received any free Tapas. It's a tragedy.
