So glad because I hate going to the barbers- travel there, sit for half an hour waiting for a barber and then the same again with tedious small talk then travel home whilst itching like fuck- always felt like I’d wasted half a day
I used to go every three weeks, such a PITA.

Grade 1 all over once or twice a week by my own hand for the last 14 years. Saved a packet too.

Wife does mine nowadays, she does a decent job (well good enough for the amount I care at least).

Before that I think I paid about £16 in the suburbs and £24 in London for one that came with a (very nice) head massage and stuff. But this is a long while ago now.

Can you still cut it with the dance routines though?

The ones I go to in London are cheap and cheerful. The place I usually go to across the road from me is £16 with agree espresso. There's another place down the road I have been to a couple of times which is £10. I get a scissor cut on top, it would be cheaper if I had clippers all over.

I hate getting my hair cut so just want somewhere that will do it quickly and not try to talk to me

I pay £55 for a guy who is absolutely awesome, he has a real skill with making hair do good things. Shame he’s moving to Aus next month, because it’s also easy to pay £50+ in London for a poor cut, and I’ve never found anyone as good as him.

Started cutting my own in the first lockdown and never stopped. Took a few times to learn how to to it well but theses days people don’t believe I cut it myself.

£12 but I fear it may go up as the amount of hair on ears, back of neck and eyebrows continually grows.

I’m half expecting him to drive in on a ride on soon and just lay me on the floor.

Just the occasional pack of mach5 blades for me. Shaving it off was one of the best things I've done. Just do it every couple of days is a doddle.

With regard to hairy ears, wow does that accelerate as you get older. I've taken to waxing them myself every 3-4 weeks. Nostrils too for good measure but that doesn't half make your eyes water 😂

I used to spend £20 at a nice barber in Edinburgh. After not being able to find a guy I liked here and noting the continued progression of my bald spot, I bought some clippers

Lol. In an ideal world yes, but self preservation prevents it happening. When you feel how connected the wax is to the nostrils and hair you'll end up teasing it out as gently as you can. 😂

It makes me sneeze like mad afterwards.
