Ah shit - I knew she has been unwell but it still seems too soon

The Netflix documentary Tina was brilliant and well worth a watch - amazing woman who came through amazing hardship.

RIP Tina…

RIP... Weirdly I thought she died years ago.

I went to see her twice, golden eye tour and wildest dreams tour, both times she smashed it.

A real shame and her music will always get everyone up.

RIP Tina Turner.

She was an icon that woman, on many, many different levels.

I remember when I started to learn to play music, early 90's as a kid it was already not cool to be listening to her stuff, but of course we did, because you have your parents influence in there as well. So as a kid I quietly liked a few of her songs, I even played some live when I was bit older. But weirdly as I've got older the appreciation and respect for her has only grown, even if I can't remember the last time I listened to any of her stuff. Who she was and how she did it almost surpasses her music, which with that catalogue and those record sales is saying something. Brilliant woman.

Her earlier stuff in particular was astoundingly good. Was never much of a fan of the 80s stuff. As a singer I think she's very underrated, and I think she tends to just be thought of as a big start that filled tons of arenas. She was a big act so to speak. But as an outright singer she deserves to be considered right up there with the likes of Aretha Franklin.

Yeah, her version of Proud Mary is always in my most played. RIP

People used to mock the Tina Strut and I get that. When she did a concert though she was flat out for 2.5 to 3 hours and was full of energy the whole time, incredible performer.

Absolute legend.... I didn't realise just how much ill health she'd been-in or that she was trying to take a homeopathic approach to dealing with it all.

That Limmy sketch was very good. I'm guessing nobody has posted the Psychoville one yet on social media as I can only imagine how that would go down.
