Epic bass player - used to love playing along to Smiths tracks as his lines were both melodic and technical. Not many achieve that so well.

Awful news to see this morning. Only started listening to The Smiths when I was 17/18 going out to bars and clubs and probably hearing them for the first time then and have loved them since then (I wasn't born until Strangeways was released though)

I didn't know him that well but read about all of the other bands and artists he's played with since and it's a huge list!

Not got many plans today so will be playing each Smiths album back to back all day I think.
