Well I’ve got all most of my emails and paperwork updated through this so at least it wasn’t a wasted afternoon. Another hour and I should be done

I collect Newspapers from important moments in history and this morning’s collection was an interesting statement on society.
The Times - commemorative front page
The Mail - commemorative front page
The Guardian - led with the Tories getting a kicking in the local elections. Their “coverage” was what can be best described as a pamphlet inside

That's why I like The Guardian! Focus on what's important and meaningful.
Our village hall held a gathering, photos were of about 40 70+ and 3 younger families. Held using left over covid funding from the Council in a building more recently used as a warm bank.
I liked the Liverpool fans' reaction to the whole wankfest of simpering cap doffing.

Try booing and whistling during the singing of You’ll never walk alone” on the Anniversary of Hillsborough and see how it goes down…

Scousers = professional victims
That is not the same thing, all games were instructed to sing the National Anthem pre-match. Nobody is made to go watch a Liverpool match and some opposition fans may well boo during the singing of "you'll never walk alone".

No one was instructed to sing the national anthem at all. Let's get that right. Dinny has gone a bit far there though.
But I thought it marked the Liverpool fans out for the classless wankers that they are.

Perhaps… I think classless is a good description.
Put it this way, Croke Park was literally built using the rubble of a Dublin destroyed by the Royal Navy putting down a rebellion. And then another time Crown Forces drove machine guns into the pitch and opened fire on the crowd and players, killing 14, including 2 children.
80 years later this was the reaction to the English National Anthem
Look I support Liverpools right to protest but don’t expect not to take flak for doing it.
