EOTR Nilfisk C110.3

Purchased at the start of April 2011 for the princely sum, of £69.99 - lasted a smidge over 12 years.
Went to use it yesterday and it ran normally for about 10 seconds, and then dropped to around 50% pressure, with the motor continuing to run at lower speed after the trigger was released. That's not right.
Pulled the cover off for the first time evah and had a fairly tentative prod around. Removed, cleaned and reseated a few items. Smacked some other parts with a hammer. I could have commenced a more enthusiastic strip-down, but I decided that - given its age - it probably wasn't worth doing much more. My (fairly dysmal) efforts yeilded zero improvement, but there was still (just) enough punch to do the job I had planned - just a bit more slowly - but I believe that will be it's last outing.
It was a pretty much an entry-level model (maybe there was one lesser Nilfisk sold at the time?), but performance has been pretty good and it was well put together with parts chunky enough to withstand knocks & bumps. I don't use the pressure washer for the cars, but it's had fairly regular use for patios/stone/clearing blocked drains/othershizzles. It has impressed enough that I wanted another Nilfisk, so there is a "Core 140" en-route. Obviously more powerful (140 vs 110 bar (peak obvs)), and about a 50% increase in flow rate too.
The pressure washer is dead. Long live the pressure washer. Etc.
