RIP - 71 isn't short, but it's not a long life by current standards.

I liked some of the stuff he did with David Sylvian, but I think Forbidden Colours is most beautiful in his original format - as below. 8-) Theme to Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence of course (which is an epic film - reminded me that I need to watch it again).

:o Stupidly I completely forgot that he also had one of the main acting roles in that film too - primary villain Captain Yonoi.

I think I've seen it just the once and have avoided watching it again to keep the impact it had and the memories of it intact, unsoftened.
