Average food availability over the last few years has dropped to the lowest level since WWII, which is a pretty low bar for 'thriving'

I'm working with a bunch of EU people on an evidence review about making food and diets more sustainable, and they have such a good way of working to develop policy that I really miss it. Meanwhile Baldrick Coffey just says 'eat more turnips'

IIRC farmers were one of the bigger Brexit supporters and quite vocal about it on tv. So far they’ve lost their EU subsidies and now are now having to compete with far more imported produce.

FTSE ! Meds !

Y'all know Broccers isn't going to address any of this or justify himself in any way, right ? He's just a drunken troll.

And farmers are largely in the dark about how future payments/funds for public goods/ELMS will materialise.

FTSE100 is a poor measure of UK economy anyway as over 2/3 of its sales are from overseas. Just means that companies which are listed here are having a good time abroad.

Largely because those overseas profits are in dollars (or whatever) and are now a higher number in £ because Sterling has tanked and we have nearly 10% inflation. It needs to have gone up 10% just to - effectively - break even.
