Was lucky enough to see him in 2019 at the outdoor Kelvingrove Bandstand in Glasgow. He couldn’t walk unaided, and his voice was croaky and knackered, but (although unable to sit up straight) he could still play the piano beautifully.
Some great anecdotes and an amazingly warm atmosphere. Several tracks I didn’t know were his (as he wrote for so many) but were “obvious” once you knew.
edit: just realised he only did one more concert after that.
