Apple's pricing for storage has always been an absolute rip-off, there's £550 difference betwen 1TB and 128GB :shock: which is more than my budget can handle unless it was absolutely necessary.

Don’t buy from Apple and it’s not so bad. Giffgaff refurb like new is £949 for an iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB, £1049 for 512GB and £1099 for 1TB. If you want a 14 Pro Max I’m sure they’ll have them before long.

Fair enough, but how much more is the 512 from the 256? Plus what Jobbo said
Cheers,

Yup and across all their device types too. In a previous job we had a customer that ran iMacs, and we were supplying them. They always needed more RAM than standard so we had to fit extra. Apple charged an outrageous amount for it, and was it was standard components we bought them elsewhere, added a 300% markup excluding fitting and still saved the customer a noticeable amount on each machine.

256 GB makes a lot of sense for prores. As for the rest, 512gb would be an additional £9 a month and 1024GB £19.50 a month when spread over 24 months. Not really sure what makes most sense, I'll see what mood I'm in when I make the call :lol:

128 -- >256 = +£144
256 --> 512 = +£216
512 --> 1024 = +£252

@DeskJockey Easy money! It was always my habit when buying a Mac computer to buy the basic spec and immediately stuff in as much RAM as possible from another supplier.
