Finding the BEST ownbrand supermarket Curry.

You know, you have to feed one person (me) and so making a meal is troublesome, time consuming and basically it's easier to buy one ready made.
Which are the best and worst you have bought? Only so I can update my shopping habits in 2023.
For me Aldi do the best and Lidl the worst.
This is good

I still like the Co-op chicken biryani. Tesco chicken vindaloo is ok, though occasionally the chicken is tough. Sainsbury’s have some limited edition ones; the chicken karahi seems to have gone now but was great. All that limited edition range have better flavour and are more authentic but occasionally you find a bit of bone in the chicken.

In the same Aldi range they do a great Chicken Tikka Masala which is as spicy as the Jalfrezi.
Asda used to do a cracking Beef Madras in their takeaway main range but I haven't seen it for years (pre-covid)

Cheers lads I am updating the list.
Keep them coming.
One we had today along chicken from Aldi was the king prawn bhuna - I dont like prawns in curry but it was not bad at all. (My Mrs is back at work so this was me cooking

)

The Tesco ones taste nice, but the chicken is very variable. Had a couple where it’s been hard and rubbery, very off putting.

M&S Chicken Saag is my go-to quick fix.
Never shop at Aldi, but I'll consider mixing with the great unwashed based on the recommendation

Waitrose Keralan Chicken Fry is my fave at the mo. A good one for those of us that like dry curries with a lot of spice

I’m not sure where Broccers is from but I think he’s up north and we don’t have Waitrose up here!
