Thàt were great 8-) 8-)

I watch these with a permanent smirk, intersected by laughs or just shakes of the head. Just brilliant. :geek:

And some of the camerawork during the welding / plasma cutting was lovely. :)

Another thoroughly enjoyable episode.

Aye, really good episode this time.

Although I do wonder how heavy this Mini will end up being, because every time they need to fabricate something they reach for the box section or the aluminium!

I chortled a lot at the jokes, and snorted at the dirty ones. Very good.

Aye. Those windscreen vents, as lovely as they were - that's an excuse right there to buy a 3d printer. Lightness etc...

Another superb video

They do seam to be going out of their way to make it as complicated to fabricate as is physically possible

Of course they are - don't forget it's a showcase for their company's skills rather than a passion project to build the lightest possible Celica-engined Mini or whatever. It'll have the bloody kitchen sink thrown at it, and rightly so. The amount of different disciplines just two guys can turn their hands to is astonishing.

Their levels of patience are as amazing to me as the skills demonstrated.

I'd have been like "right stop - lets 'kin shoehorn the 'kin engine in and spin it round the 'kin yard" sooooo long ago. :)

I’ll have to ask my BiL if he’s ok with me sharing his Mini project. It’s getting a vtec and a full bare metal rebuild whilst he’s retraining to get into vehicle bodywork.

Sneaky shot:

I take it he's seen the Might Car Mods VTEC Mini build Rich? If not it's worth a watch.

I'd imagine there's barely any weight in a stripped Mini shell so they can afford to add some weight to show off their skills.

As long as it weighs less than a celica it'll be alright 😉

I did wonder about Nick's hair in the first part. Glad it was an intentional set up.

The little hose connector which mounts on the bulkhead for the coolant pipes is a thing of beauty. I wonder if they make more from their videos than they do from their engineering business now, though?
