Anyone else?

I was literally landing back in the UK as the store was updating and the Google event started...

Pleased to be able to pick up a 256GB black unit with free fog Pixel buds pro as well, whilst in the bus back to the car park.

Will probably get one ordered soon. Just need to figure out whether to go for the Pro or not.

The colour choice is a bit wank mind, albeit marginally less crap than the 6.

It happens to be upgrade time for me so I've just ordered a black 128gb P7 Pro.

Never ordered a new phone at release time before, I wonder how badly this will go in terms of bugs etc

Free buds or £179 off the watch no?

That's for the 7, for the 7 pro you can get the whole watch free.

I just did it through EE, I still can't quite bear the thought of dropping ~500 outright on a phone so I won't get those bits I imagine.

Edit: £850 apparently. Lol. Sixty quid a fucking month for decent data. Oh well, I can afford it these days and it'll be nice to be on the cutting edge for a change.

Ordered a normal 7 in black as well. They offered interest free on a drip and buy back my 4a at £150 so it seems almost free :)

Never had a phone without a 3.5mm Jack !

I'm still rocking the Pixel2XL, we're up to 7 now?! 😆

I'm wondering if I should swap out my order for a 7 Pro. Bigger screen, battery and better camera hardware. Plus it would come with the watch with I could sell straight on.

What you currently running?
Looking at the specs the P7 Pro is basically a P6Pro with some nice-to-have's...

Awesome phone. Loved mine. 6 pro is brilliant though.

I'm after a 7 Pro with 256Gb, but they're out of stock so I'll have to wait. Hopefully they'll come back in before the offer on the watch and buds expires.

I'm quite tempted too (for a 7 - the Pro is just too big IMO)

But that camera "slab" thing is still a real issue for me

Seems like good value though...

The camera slab causes no issues for me. Takes great photos too 😉

Like most modern phones they need a decent case as they always seem so slippery 😂

I have a 5 at the mo so just 6" for comparison.

I tried my friends' 6 earlier in the year and that was a perfect size, but at 6.4" rather than the 6.3" of the 7.

For me it's more about the width than anything though. I'd rather have the wider phone for less chance of typing errors on the keyboard.

The fact that the 7 Pro is OOS for now though seals it for me. I'll stick with the 6 order.

I've already ordered a Spigen thin fit, which I've on my 5, had on my 3A XL and my OG XL as well as my work iPhone 11.

That's arriving Monday so I'll know how it feels 'in the hand' before the phone arrives later in the week.

I suspect the 7 Pro is likely too tall for my pockets to be comfortable, so there's no regret from that side.

I wish Google went the IPhone way a little - It'd be nice to get the 'Pro' camera setup etc without having to actually get the bigger phone.

Amazon has the 256gb pro and you still get the pre order bonus.

My Spigen case has arrived. I'd like the phone to be fractionally bigger but the killer for me with the pro is that it still has curves screen edges which means no glass screen protector.

Do you get both of the pre order bonuses as it looked like it was just 1

Looking in the Amazon app it looks like you can choose either, just like the Google store.
