I was wondering if the Bye Bye Liz thread was going to contain this.

Family including Charles and Wills are on the way up. Not looking good.
Sounds like swearing in Liz Truss was the final straw.

She's 96 though - Good innings and still kept pretty active.

Yeah, “London Bridge” messages were supposedly passed around in the House of Commons.
I did think about that Jobbo..

It does seem like we're really in for dark times if we have Liz Truss as PM and Charles as King (can't believe I am writing that) - very much a London Bridge Falling Down moment.

I hadn't seen that before. Is anyone else clicking refresh on
https://www.royal.uk/ to see when it goes black? Based on the wiki article that may well be the first official signal of her death which the public see, though I imagine Twitter will beat the Royal Family's web host to the mark.

Speculation is that she has already died and we are being softened up for an announcement this evening.
(From brother in law who’s a parliamentary aide)

Really doesn't look good does it... She's had one hell of a life though but has naturally, looked tired and lost since Philip died.

Wouldn't be surprised - They wouldn't announce anything until they are all gathered at balmoral.

In the past, announcements have been delayed for various reasons and it's likely this will happen again.
I for one, will be very upset when the time comes and I don't mind saying it.

Yeah, I think given everything that's going on its safe to say she's already passed. And yes, add me to that group @dinny_g, am strangely affected by it already.

Either that or has had a terminal event (eg stroke) and is in last days to hours of life. “Comfortable” is frequently a medical euphemism for palliative care.
I think everyone, monarchist or no, will be very sad to see someone who has been a symbol of permanence move on.

Hopefully it’s wrong but it certainly doesn’t look good.
Someone who has tirelessly worked for the country, it’ll be a sad day.
Dave!

Suggests that London bridge is in play.
Another suggestion on twitter is that any announcement would be delayed for the morning paper release in commonwealth countries. Whether that is still applicable these days or not i dont know.
