What's a good alarm clock that doesn't use sound? E.g. one that's going to reliably wake me up through vibration, light, cold water spray, etc whether it's summer or winter?

Currently I use my iPhone on vibrate under my pillow, but frankly, I don't like sleeping on top of my phone. Partly because 5g will give me the coronavirus, but also because it means I need to take my phone to bed with me, which increases the chance of more screentime in bed. I realise there are other vibrating alarm clocks out there, but asking in case you guys have any left-field ideas.

Conext for this: for quite a long time now, I've had hearing loss from otoscrelosis and too many years with my head stuck in the bass bins at raves, so can't rely on sound-based alarm clocks, unless it's anti-social levels of noise and I've had complaints int he past when I've relied on sound levels to wake me up... especially when I sleep through it

I find my iPhone on a wooden bedside table wakes me up with the vibration - worth a try?

Get a child. I haven't needed an alarm for 4 years and 10 months.

Hue lights can be set on a timer too, I have ours come gently on earlier than sunrise when it's depths of winter.

Those Lumie things were all the rage 10 years or so ago, don't know if they're any good mind you.

I have a weirdly accurate body clock. I can set my alarm to any time and I'll be up 5-10 mins before it goes off. Just one of my many talents

My Garmin watch vibrates me awake everytime. Even if I've been out on a bender. Brilliant!

I used to have my Fitbit vibrate to wake me up without disturbing ExWife1. If I didn't cancel the alarm properly and it went off on the wooden beside unit it definitely woke her.

It's a Vivoactive 4. Great bit of kit.

Looks nice I've got a forerunner 45, which was great for a lot of running, however always felt a little cheap. Now I do less running and more weights, swimming etc too, the Vivoactive looks like a good upgrade.
