They’ve said that. Apparently all the calculations were made and it didn’t sit as low as expected so is awaiting a new full set of coilovers

I don’t know, I quite like the ride height. Makes me think of the gp4 rally cars.

I wonder if they’d do a 348, I’ve always thought they look great but they’re apparently a bit shit to drive.

I'm sure they'll do whatever you like if you give them enough money.

True, I wonder if they take payment in Irn Bru bottle deposits.

The colour scheme does look very nice. Big fan of green and gold on cars these days, see the recent BMW M5 and Harris' M2 CS.

Look, we agreed on a thing!!!

I love the ride height and tyre profile, it looks like I could drive down a normal country road and not wince and depressions and bumps.

Dave!

It’s a shame, because there’s clearly a cracking car in there just waiting to get out after a few tweaks of the adjustable elements. You can also sense the playful side of the car too, as a prod of throttle wakes that engine and gets the rear moving, the slippy diff betraying its presence with a scrabble when leaving junctions.

The Moto Technique Ferrari 388 GTBi is a bitch, and I spanked it.

I’ve only driven one a few miles in town so can’t really comment, but my understanding is that the launch set up of the 348 was crap (hence the bad reviews) and it’s easily rectified with later model year geo and challenge springs and dampers.
The one I drove felt a bit vtec in power delivery, so the engine would definitely benefit from making more low end.

I reckon 10mm lower would be the sweet spot.

I’ve always said I’d have a 348 over a 355. I think they look miles better, when you see them side by side the changes for the 355 look a bit mid 90s max power accessory. I have wondered how a 348 would look with 355 doors, but keep the slatted rear light be squared off front end.

348 sounds nicer and less shrill/ artificial to my ears too.

I’m sure a 355 is much better driven hard ( but like you say, I’m sure a lot that can be tuned out ) by then how often does anything like that ever get driven hard on the roads anyway?
