Came here to post this. Stay in for the bit with Richard Tuthill driving it at the end.

Just watched it too, and passed it on to a few that will appreciate. Quite a thing, although if my experience of bike engines is any metric, you'll find that exercising an engine to 11k rpms takes some room.. although they at least took it to my fave "local" road to try

Wowsers. This is much superior to pretty much any Singer IMO. The Williams engine'd one probably has the engine to match, but aesthetically it can't touch this.

I reluctantly clicked on that over a bite of lunch. I'm not usually an enormous fan of restomod efforts.
But.
Wow.
What an object.

Wow, though I'm sure Harris is aware of bike-engined cars like the Westfield Megablade with a higher rev limit.

Very nice.. I know they’re school mates but you can tell Monkey really likes that. And why wouldn’t he!? Looks an absolute blast and plenty of nuance to keep improving rather than being able to use all the performance straight away
Don’t think they mentioned the price? And a full carbon body will be expensive.. incredible! What’s with the reverse gear? How is that better/lighter than normal??

I've seen $850k (USD) quoted elsewhere (around £675k). No idea if that is an official price.

Im presuming its some sort of electric motor (Maybe). He says in the video he wanted to keep the lightweight Porsche gearbox casing and used the reverse gear space to give another forward cog.

I wonder if it is something very basic with a concept similar to the below.
