Ex Thatcher Rover P5? Or ex Stephen Hawking Caravelle? It's a tough one.
(I'll take the Bastos SD1 please)

That RS2 is 70K+ guide and looks really, really shoddy. Running Nexen tyres and was in "long term storage". They can have some massive bills with some bits difficult to source....that could be a massive money pit to get it back to a decent condition.
That being said - blue with black/blue alcantara is of the utmost correctness.

How much was yours? I seem to remember they’d already started going up a bit??
Still very cool cars, but the more things turn into rich peoples trinkets the less interested I start to become.

Lots of those look mental money to me. Be interesting to see what they actually make. If they get close to the estimates there doesn’t seem to be any sign of the market softening!
£40k + 15% fees for an ae86 strikes me as particularly insane. I know people love them, but seriously?

Some nice cars there (20V ur-quattro caught my eye), but absolutely
everything nice is £stoopid now (if the guide price is accurate). Also 15% "buyer premium" is steep.
Ahm oot!

I always used to think that this era of RR looked shit but I really like this. I think the heat's getting to me

Also £30k for a Clio Williams

The high mileage grigio 308 GTS is rather lovely.

I know where there's a Williams sat on a drive, it hasn't moved for at least 10 years
Not sure if this will work

Kinda does, click on streetview and go toward main road.

My Dad quite fancied an Arnage for a while and I could see the point. There seems to be a £100k premium for having a soft top though !

I was particularly taken with the BMW 1602. Lovely little thing!

Unless you have a truly unique car, it's all about the buying demographic. Most of the lots listed where the cars are earlier than 1970 will sell for a chunk less than I was selling them for in 2012, because the typical 55-65 year old buyer from ten years ago is no longer adding to their collection (or is no longer around!).

I was about to post the same. I genuinely have no idea of whether people will pay those guide prices, but some of them seem crazy for the cars in question, regardless of how few miles they've covered.

I've always liked the Arnage tbh, I thought the Silver Seraph and Corniche looked a bit too soft by comparison. I have generally been liking Rolls cars more recently though. I've liked most of those crazy expensive coach built cars that they've done.
