Chris seemed quite level headed… what drove the desire?
And where is your write-up?
He was looking for something "a little different!" Had toyed with a Morgan 3 wheeler then this came up.

Its like nothing ive ever driven before. I consider myself to be a fairly confident driver but this was a genuine back to school experience.
You need to plan ahead to turn and trust the lean. Steering wise you have to be very precise with your inputs. A jerky input will unsettle the hydraulics and you'll be bouncing up and down. I wouldn't fancy having to take evasive.
Will it drift - That I fear would end in a fiery death. As the rear slid you would need to dial in some oppo to catch it. This would then send the hydraulics a message to stand the cab up which would in turn shift the weight balance. Bad things would follow.
Is it quick - pass, Most i used was 3rd gear and half throttle. I would need loads more seat time to get confident enough to push it. Its got a small turbo lump in it so I imagine it could be reasonably quick.
As you can see from the photo's we went to a large disused carpark for me to have a shot. Which was a great idea as i could push it into the max lean in a reasonable safe environment. When its leaning you spend most of the time looking out the side window.
Utterly utterly bonkers. EVERYONE stares at it. I followed Chris in the X5 and it stopped almost everyone in their tracks. There was a guy talking on the phone who stopped his conversation when it drove past

Turbo motor?
Ah, I wondered about the 08 plate. Aren't they all electric now?
