Edit - answered my own question, 99% of sound bars don't do Bluetooth 'out' so no point looking at that.

Seems if I want Bluetooth headphones use with a telly, I need a new telly.

Anything decent in the sub £300, circa 40" range with looking at?

3.5mm to BT5 transmitters are about a fiver but if you want a new telly just go to hotukdeals and have a look for a samsung or hisense, they're absolutely fine but no idea if they have BT out.

I have a 43 inch LG 3D TV that will need wall mounting, as we threw the stand away, but your welcome to it if you can make use of it?
