The thread title unlocked a childhood memory of going to one of these shops with my parents to buy home decorating stuff

All of Broccers’s’s list (although I have had facial fuzz, it was never for Movember).

Add to the list Body Warmers / Gilet’s. If it is cold enough that I need a jacket, then I want my feckin arms warm too….

Well I was thinking of Turkish Barbers but I suppose it depends on where you live...

Seriously though, No issue with Turkish food - I quote like it to be honest its just that around here, if you see a restaurant has closed, pound to a penny, it'll be a Turkish one that opens up

I've played wordle - it was ok.

I did movember too, but because I had/have a beard I was able to go straight to a mighty fine handlebar tashe for the month without having to do the pathetic in between stage.

Clapping NHS/changing FB profiles to add flags/etc can fuck off.

Doing daft stuff for charity is bad because it's kind of annoying when you see it on Instagram.

There's a similar thing here with ice cream/dessert shops. Has to be money laundering, there's no other logical reason for a shop that only sells bought in ice cream surviving a Glasgow winter

There's a gelato shop and a fish and chip shop up the road from here that have been getting built for knocking on two years now.

I'm pretty sure it's the same story.

Before it was a curry house that never had any customers in it at any time I saw it, day or night....

Gin. Don’t like it therefore didn’t follow the fad.

When I was online dating it seemed like every girl had some reference to liking gin in their profile, on a platform where the objective is to stand out from the rest..

Any kind of bandwagon jumping puts me off people tbh.

I'm not sure gin is a fad, it's been around since the 11th century...
