Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
So how many forum members (either evo or ov9) have you actually met in-person? Seen with your own eyes. Exchanged a handshake. Smelled or tasted.
Try to go back deep in your memory - to times you might have tried to blank out.
Do also count the ones that you suspect may not be 100% human DNA.

I'm "None Thankfully" but I think I may have seen Tim on his Blood bike at a services a few years back...
Re: Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
Quite a few, everyone of them are actually nice people in real life!
Re: Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
I've bought a car off one and part of a car off another.
I think I sold a bit off a car to one once, but I can't remember who, when and what (was there a very religious guy back in the day (early 2000s)? Him.)

Re: Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
EVO meets were a thing of wonder back in the day. Driving around like twats with other twats. Praise be.
Re: Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
There was a good turn out on the karting day I went to, so I reckon that bolsters my numbers quite a bit.
Re: Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
I wasn't around for the early meets which I think were bigger. All the meets I went on were pretty civilised and people were almost exclusively nice.
Re: Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
IHMO there was only one perpetual offender in a black Golf in terms of sub-standard driving on the 5 or 6 meets I went on (that they went to 3 of).
I've posted a few photos on Pistonheads of some of the meets I went on: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/top ... &t=1908256

I’ve been on a handful of meets and track days and also bought a car off Broccers. It all seems a long long time ago.
Re: Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
Definitely more than 20, could well be 50+ but I'm not going to wrack my memory to count.

Can I deduce from that thread that you met Gremlin and Donna?NGRhodes wrote: ↑Mon Mar 21, 2022 12:57 pm IHMO there was only one perpetual offender in a black Golf in terms of sub-standard driving on the 5 or 6 meets I went on (that they went to 3 of).

Not met anyone irl because I'm a sock puppet. Not telling you who's though.
An absolute unit
Re: Face-Off (also FTAO Lurkers)
I've met a few, but I can't be arsed remembering all of them.
I mean, frankly, they know. They know the horror.
