I’ve often fancied the idea of an Alpina because lord knows I’ve had enough BMWs (get ready for the edits) down the years but never quite got there in my head.

“BMW will not take any shares in Alpina” it says in the body of the article. In what way have they acquired it then? There’s reference lower down to just the trademark rights so I assume there won’t be anything properly Alpina in the cars badges as Alpinas after 2025. Shame.
