So you’re on an Airbus A320 when both the pilots take ill (despite one having fish and the other chicken). They need someone to land the muthafuckin plane and there are no qualified sky-bus drivers on board.

So - you know the theory. You’ve played a flight simulator (ZX Spectrum and even some more recent ones. If there was someone on the headphones giving you some guidance on which buttons do what (like in Airplane) - could you land that muthafuckin plane?

Because I could do the latter, but the former might be trickier.

You could get it into the water. I could set an autopilot in a 747 from memory of flight sims if I had it in front of me I'd wager, which would then *allow* me to get it somewhere with ground availability, at least

Interesting proposition, if it's a calm day with minimal wind then I'd fancy a go.

Id step in confident that the plane would land itself and everyone who dominoes understand that would be impressed

This. I think between the tech and guidance from someone on the ground then anyone should be able to get it down. Better to crash slowly at an airport than run out of fuel and fall into the sea.
