Mutually Sycophantic LinkedIn Recommendations

I wasn't stalking <whistles innocently>

Two former colleagues. I didn't get on with either of them and always felt there was a weird dynamic between them. I happened to look up one of them today and saw a recommendation from the other. Hmm, I thought, I wonder it it's mutual. It certainly is. Read these and see if you can keep your lunch down:

Those read like they both had to write something as part of a weird settlement to avoid further litigation...

This is why I have always refused requests for referrals on LinkedIn. For me they have zero value.

(Caveat - I did one recently for someone in need - on the strict agreement that they didn’t reciprocate).
