I saw the two of them and for about the only time I actually gave them loads of room (MSA blue flags are very different to FIA blue flags (immediately get out of the way) in the U.K. the faster car has to find a way past.

Is there any video floating around from the other cars? It’s obvious from yours that you left space for him, couldn’t see in the mirror if he’d locked up or something to cause him to go so wide of the apex and hit you.

The only way that could be turning in on him was if he was going straight on (as per Jobbo's comment). Maybe it's been left out of their vid because Tiff had a word.

That was my response, if I turned in it would be all over their socials, we had an SD card issue that’s taken ages for me to see it and prove to my teammates it wasn’t my fault

I guess that's what I was wondering - is there anything in place which gives you some sort of comeback for things where someone is just out of their depth or pulling stupid manoeuvres, or is it just part of racing? Pretty sure you can buy racecar insurance, but I bet it’s not cheap.

Same as a trackday, crash your car, or if someone else crashes into you tough. Either suck it up or make sure you’re covered before going.
