Karting - Tamworth or Banbury (25/6 or 2/7)

Anyone interested in arranging another gathering? It's been 9 years since Whilton Mill, believe it or not. We're a little older, a little wiser - wise enough to know that if Dan and his brother attend, a discussion must be had to decide on a ballast weight.
I'm not offering to arrange it, btw....just opening discussions.

I have plenty. Does that mean I've already won?

I've probably gained 10kg in the last 9 years. I'd potentially be up for this depending on times etc.

Will everyone but Dan look like this now?

Ah, nice to see that Violet Beauregarde found a T-shirt in her size.

I'm fatter and older than you and significantly less talented. Don't you dare assume that you'll not beat me!

Racing snake status: revoked
I still weigh pretty much the same as 10 years ago. Gonna need about 30-40KG of ballast to match you fat bastards

That's very scaleist of you. Can't help that some of us are built on a larger scale. I'm lighter (by about a stone) than the last time I joined a karting event, but I doubt that'll make much difference.

If ballast is worn as a fat suit he'll look like that also. I mean, they're a type of kart aren't they? Shopping kart.

So we need to add ballast and also equalise our coefficients of drag?

Obviously. Dan and Marv can have pedal karts with the brakes locked on, rest of us in normal ones. Fair?

I couldn't remember having been karting within the last decade so I checked my old e-mails for Whilton Mill. I'd forgotten I arranged it

I'm not sure I have time to arrange another one but I'll come along.
There seems to be an additional Daytona karting place in Tamworth; not sure if that's more central than Whilton Mill? Was Whilton Mill any good, in fact? Daytona MK was always the best run kart place I've been to.

Whilton mill is good, I did an event there with JLR in 2014 (lapped them all of course).
I’m over 80 kilos now so don’t stand a chance.

Alas…. not really.
