Did the older GT4s have more of an end plate type set up? I remember them being prettier than this - this is still pretty cool though.

Looking at that the old Caymen has a triple spoiler

I don’t hate it, but don’t like it much either. Looks sat too far forward and also too thin with no depth to the shape or angle.
Anyone know if the mounts are adjustable? Ones that are almost always seem to be set to the lowest drag / looks only settings.
I’d take mine without if possible.

Looks great, suits the lines of the car, suits the track-leaning attitude of the car. It takes the Cayman’s slightly lumpy rear end view and pulls it together.

Aesthetically it could do with being further back and having more of an angle. To my untrained eye it looks like it works the same way as the new GT3 spoiler though?
The airflow between the wing and the ducktail creates downforce while allowing for a flatter angle on the wing for less drag.

This rear spoiler is... too far up the back of the car.

I concur. I like the design but it needs moving back slightly.

The aftermarket clubsport wings are in the same position so I guess its about function rather than pleasing a few geeks

And the wrong way round.

I'm quite interested as to the aero modelling for the car and the positioning - does it
need the two bits of aero there? Do they compliment each other or does the addition of the top one cancel the small one out etc.

Didn’t realise so many of the Red Bull F1 aerodynamicists reside here

It's inevitable when there are so many Hamilton-beaters who just decided to stay in IT making shitloads.

Is the home redbull aerodynamicist the new Facebook schooled COVID expert?

This rear spoiler is... too far up the back of the car... to be aesthetically pleasing from most angles.
Fixed that.
Anyway, I know SFA about aerodynamics, so is two better than one, or could they not justify a redesign of the backend to get rid of the little ducktail one because it would cost too much for a limited run car?

Both wings must be making downforce. I remember on wheeler dealers when Ant crudely added a third wing to Escort RS and that still made more downforce.
