Sausage Hauliers

When I was a small children, I used to occasionally see sausage-branded trucks (Mathessons etc - other brands are available).
I always imagined that each truck would have a (gas probably) hob installed inside the cab, upon which there would be a frying pan. The drivers would have free access to as many sausages as they could consume - at practically any point - during their journey. A not inconsiderable perk of the job.
I subsequently discovered this was not true.
Should I sue sausage manufacturers (as a singular or a collective genre), or the Beano for regularly featuring dogs stealing and running away from places (often the butchers) with unfeasably long chains of link sausages?
