If we can argue about toasters, why not kettles? Our 3-4yo Bosch has been looking a bit tired of late and has to today begun to smell of warm/burning plastic, so is being replaced tomorrow. What to get?
Toaster is a four slice Dualit, hob is Neff, oven a Belling, microwave and fridge/freezer both Samsung, cooker hood Bosch, dishwasher Indesit, mixer is Kitchen Aid (candy apple red), and food processor Kenwood.

Just pick the one which matches your kitchen.

We have a Russell Hobbs. Same make as the toaster. They don't match though
AEG ovens and hob, Neff dishwasher, LG fridge, Samsung dryer and Bosch washer. Oh and I think an Elica extractor.

Our Bosch blew up, so I replaced it with a Bosch.

I like my Bosch; not too noisy which is why I got it. The spout is a bit crap when it’s full and you want to pour quickly though.

We have a Haden which works well enough but it's pretty noisy. Thermometer on the outside though

I bought a one cup Breville thing during lockdown #1, its a basic thing but for my brew frequency it's ideal while I WFH. Can set the thing off and go pee/fetch the mail/make breakfast etc
It's not fancy pants aluminium or trendy though.

Two things I didn't know I needed from a kettle until I had them - adjustable temp and a "keep warm" setting.

Bought another Bosch. Metal with a red band of rubber around it.

Nah buy the one with the lowest wattage because it uses less leccy.

Really what you should be doing if you're suitably upwardly mobile is getting a boiling water tap.
Maybe hold off on replacing the upstairs hall TV if money is an issue.
