Yes, it makes it a total non-article now doesn't it ? You could substitute absolutely anything instead of "Audi" and it would make no difference

Indeed - it's not as if you have the Audi Huracan Performante competing with Ferrari, or the Audi 996SPS challenging the Honda Fireblade (NB: motorbike references may be some years out of date).

I am amused at all the rumour-mongers suggesting it's actually BMW, not Audi, that have bought McLaren.
